PSTRESS CLOUD

PSTRESS is a powerful pulley design tool that allows you to quickly calculate the stresses in a pulley. Unlike a FEA program, by using PSTRESS on the same pulleys, the same response will always be obtained when the same geometry is used under the same loads. The mesh and limit conditions are predetermined and most of the solution is analytical, so the calculation times are usually less than one second. This allows designers to quickly review the effect of a design change on the shear stress distribution and quickly arrive at an application optimized design.
